One morning the Lord showed me an image of a wooden toy propeller spinning wildly in the wind as He whispered to my heart - “Winds of Change.” My mind went to the story of Moses during a time when he desperately needed to trust that the Lord would clear a path for him. And the Lord did just that. With a mighty wind, He split apart the water that stood as an obstacle in front of Moses, making the ground passable for the Israelites. In the middle of what seems like our greatest impossibilities, with one simple breath, God will move those things out of the way. It’s His winds of change that, in just an instant, will create a path for you to walk on, in the midst of what should have prevented you from being able to move forward. He’s asking us to believe that our prayers can and actually do affect the circumstances around us, creating a wind that opens the path that lies before us. Moses took action and stretched out his hands, believing that the Lord would change what stood in front of him, and the Lord took over from there. Stretch out your hands and believe. The winds of change are coming.
"Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided. So the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea on the dry ground, and the waters were a wall to them on their right hand and on their left." - Exodus 14:21-22
