Artist Interpretation -
As I was searching through the pages of my journals asking the Lord for what to share on such an important day, I landed on the one with an image of gold thread on a wooden spool. I was immediately drawn to it and when I read the words for that day, I understood why...the very first line I had written said “the day that changed everything.” The Lord led me to that entry because today is exactly that day...the day that changed everything. The words I had written in my journal as I prayed through what I saw - the Lord just wants us at the foot of the cross. Nothing else. No works, no lists, no agenda...just us and the Lord. Free to experience all He has for our lives. It’s what He died for. But more importantly, it’s what He rose from the tomb for. For you and for me. To give us life and light. And to give us His very best. Praise the Lord - He is Risen!!!
“But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen - that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to His own people and to the Gentiles.” - Acts 26:22-23
“Instead, seek His kingdom, and these things will be added to you. Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” - Luke 12:31-32
