Artist Interpretation -
As I was praying this morning, the Lord reminded me of an image He had shown me over a year ago of an almond branch over a tomb. The words the Lord whispered to my heart that day were “ life over death” and the words I wrote in my journal as I prayed through what I saw were “I believe.” Looking down at what I had written in my journal today, I realized I had written the exact same words...“I believe.” The same message, almost a year apart, is the message I believe the Lord wants us to hear in this season, and even more specifically in this moment. Believe. To believe is to “accept something as true; feel sure of the truth of.” Believe in life over death. Believe that God is bigger than the fear the enemy is trying to get us to buy into. Believe in miracles. Believe that the power of the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives inside us. The kind of belief that opens the door to faith, which in turn opens the door to the miracle. It’s coming.
