When planting a rose bush, several steps are necessary in order to best achieve optimal, rapid growth. Roses crave the sun, making the location they’re planted, vital. It’s important to have rich, well-draining soil as well as mulch to suppress the growth of unwanted weeds. Roses require enough water to create consistently moist soil and need to be checked frequently for insects or disease outbreaks. Pruning is important in removing dead and diseased stems and allows new vigorous stems to form. When the Lord whispered “growing rapidly” and showed me an image of a rose bud with a thick green stem and leaves, His message was clear...face the Son, planted where He has specifically put you, be diligent in prayer and on guard against attacks, stay in the Word, seek the Lord to reveal what needs to be removed and allow Him to take you through the pruning process. Necessary steps for optimal, rapid growth and the results...beautiful new blooms that rise above the weeds of the world.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.” - 2 Peter 3:18
“I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in me that does not bear fruit He takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. Already you are clean because of the word that I have spoken to you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.” - John 15:1-4
