Artist Interpretation -
Farriers, who fit horses with new custom shoes, use a process called forging. Newly forged shoes are necessary for the horse to aid with things such as correction, traction, gait enhancement, racing and abnormal stress. Forged horseshoes achieve “optimal and unparalleled” strength and are found to be the highest quality horseshoes. It’s a more costly process, but the end result produces far more superior shoes with “exceptional integrity.” In this season, the Lord is wanting to fit us with new shoes. They might not be what we expected them to be, but they are the best for the race in front of us. Although the process might feel like it’s costing us a lot, if you allow Him to use your “new forged shoes” to correct you, give you better traction, enhance your gait and reduce your stress, the end result will be a life of “unparalleled strength and exceptional integrity.” Resulting, ultimately, in the ability to run the higher race.
