Artist Interpretation  -

The image of the well the Lord showed me one morning as I was praying was significant in that not only was there water at the base, but there was also a fire on top of the water, burning from deep within the well. The whisper “fire in the well” stirred something in my heart and I began researching the phenomenon to better understand what the Lord was showing. There are three major components that are needed for a fire to burn on top of water - fuel, oxygen and an ignition source. If there is fuel floating on top of the water, along with the oxygen and ignition source, there's nothing stopping it from acting as a “fluid bed of flames” - a fire that can be dangerous and highly mobile. As I read through each of these components and studied the image of the fire in the well, the Lord began to unfold the message in His whisper. As believers, our lives in Christ are called to be like that fire burning deep in the well - dangerous to the enemy while serving as a light to the world. A mobile fire burning hot and bright, ignited from our time spent in the “depth of the well” with the Lord, fueled by the words of Scripture and soaked in the presence of His power and holiness. The combination becomes a ‘fluid bed of flames” impacting everything in its path, bringing the fire of Jesus Christ to our nation...a flame that can’t be quenched.

“I came to cast fire on the earth, and would that it were already kindled! I have a baptism to be baptized with, and how great is my distress until it is accomplished!” - Luke 12:49-50

“John answered them all, ‘I baptize you with water. But one who is more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.’” - Luke 3:1
