Artist Interpretation -
The instruction Jesus gives us in Matthew 5:16 is to "let your light shine before others.” To shine our brightest, we need to first spend time absorbing the light of Christ - consumed by the light of the Son, as close to the source as possible. We are called to His light. The closer we are to His heart, the brighter His light shines from within us. Awakened to His call, hearts turned toward Him, fueled by His Word and filled with the Holy Spirit. Walking in an authentic light that comes from the power and authority that radiate from our Lord, we shine bright for the world to see.
