Artist Interpretation -

The image of a skirt the Lord showed me, was a brilliant yellow and had amazing pockets. The part the Lord highlighted, however, was the sword that was in the pocket. The sword acted as a reminder that when we are called to arise, the Lord will equip us. There are times when it may seem we don’t have what we need and then, in a “suddenly” kind of moment, the Lord shows us its been in our “pocket” the whole time. Esther, who found favor in the king's sight and became the queen of the Persian empire just in time to be used by God to save her people, was the only one that could approach the king. Despite any fear or desire to run that Esther might have had and in a bold move that required an enormous amount of courage, Esther stood before the king, asking him to save the Jewish people. When it was time for her to arise, the Lord gave her a voice and the courage she needed. And in Esther’s “suddenly moment,” she saved her people. Arise, “His divine power has given us everything we need…”

“His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.” - 2 Peter 1:3
